AllChinaBuy Link Checks: Record the Destination and Selected Variant
A saved product link can later open a different destination, show different options or stop loading. A useful link record keeps the original address and the evidence from each check instead of silently replacing them.
This independent guide explains the AllChinaBuy link variant checklist below. It documents what a page shows at a particular time; it does not certify products or sellers.
Keep a dated trail
Record the original URL, final destination, visible item identifier, selected variant, check date and observed status. Missing evidence stays Unknown.
1. Preserve the original address
Copy the URL exactly as you found it and record where it came from. Keep a separate field for the final page that opens.
A short link, directory link and seller page may be different addresses. Removing the original reference makes a later change harder to explain.
Do not include private account URLs or personal order details in a public link list. Keep the research record limited to the relevant product source.
2. Check what actually opens
Record whether the link reaches an identifiable product page, a store page, a search page, an error or an access prompt. A page opening successfully does not by itself establish that it is the intended product.
Compare the destination with the earlier record. If you cannot access the required information, use Could not check rather than claiming that the item is unavailable.
Do not bypass access warnings or use an unrelated destination just to mark the check complete.
3. Compare the item and option
Record the visible seller label and item identifier where available. Then check the exact colour, size, model or bundle you intend to select.
A familiar product photograph does not prove the item stayed the same. An unchanged page address can still contain a changed description or option list.
Keep conflicting values side by side. Do not replace an old size or item ID with the new value without recording the date and reason.
4. Define statuses narrowly
Active means the expected page and selected option were visible during your check. It is not a promise of future stock, quality or delivery.
Changed means a documented value differs from an earlier observation. Unavailable means the page visibly reports unavailability. Could not check covers cases where you cannot establish the current state.
Attach a reason to the status, such as “selected size no longer shown” or “destination opens a store homepage”.
5. Follow a worked change record
Illustrative example: an earlier record shows Item A in blue, size M. On a later check, the same URL opens a page showing Item B. Preserve the original record and add Changed: item identifier differs.
If a third check cannot load the page, record Could not check with the date. That failure does not erase the previously observed change or prove permanent deletion.
These are sample record states, not reports about a real listing.
6. Review a replacement separately
Save a proposed replacement as a new candidate with its own source, identifier, variant and date. Link it to the old record only as a proposed alternative.
Compare the specifications and relevant measurements before treating it as suitable. Similar styling does not establish an equivalent product.
Keep the original address visible in your private change history so you can explain why the replacement was considered.
7. Recheck before a purchase or recommendation
Confirm the selected option, displayed price and availability again before acting on an older link. Record the new check date.
Separate a successful link check from the other decisions that remain: fit, QC evidence, current charges and provider terms. An Active label should not stand in for those checks.
When sharing a list, show the checked date and the destination clearly. Do not describe an unreviewed replacement as verified.
Link-check questions
Does a working URL mean the product is unchanged?
No. Compare the item identifier, description and selected option with the previous record.
Should I erase a broken link?
Keep its history and record the observed problem. Evaluate a replacement separately.
What if I cannot open the page?
Use Could not check with the date. Do not infer a permanent outcome from missing access.
Where do this site's category links go?
They open SpreadsheetCKJ. Use the actual product listing as the source for item and variant evidence.

Link-status checks when the agent website shows maintenance
Checked 1 October 2026 (UTC+8). The AllChinaBuy official website currently presents a maintenance notice. The old English forwarding-guide URL did not provide its guide in this check. This page cannot confirm current order submission or account-specific service access. A notice remaining online is not a promised recovery date.
A service interruption is not a deleted listing
Check the original seller destination independently from the agent destination. If the seller page is visible but the agent page shows maintenance, record the seller observation and mark the agent check Could not check. Do not change the product to Unavailable without an item-specific unavailability message, and do not label it Changed without an earlier dated value and a specific difference.
Preserve a history another reader can verify
For each attempt, save the input URL, final destination, visible page message, date and time zone, seller or store identifier, item identifier, and exact variant. Missing fields stay Unknown. Retain the last successful observation as historical evidence, clearly separate from today's unresolved check. A substitute page with similar photos remains a new candidate; it is not an automatic replacement.
The official maintenance notice supports only this service-status observation. It does not validate listing identity, stock, authenticity, QC, refunds, or shipping. Recheck current access and terms before payment. Return to the product-link and variant checklist to distinguish destination evidence from a purchase decision.
AllChinaBuy Link Variant Check
Use this checklist to compare an original URL with its current destination and record only what can be confirmed on the evidence date.
Save Original URL
Check Final Destination
Save the original URL exactly as found, together with the source page and evidence date. This creates a baseline for checking later redirects or listing changes.
Open the link and record its final destination. Note redirects and any visible seller or item change; mark the result Unknown if the page cannot be checked.
Compare Variant Details
Record Status & Date
Compare the selected color, size, item identifier, and other variant labels shown on the destination page. Record only visible differences and leave missing details Unknown.
Log an exact evidence date for every check. Tag each entry as Active, Changed, Broken, or Unknown only after performing full link verification.
